For 2026, the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Pakistan has set the minimum Fitrana at PKR 300 per person (based on wheat). Higher rates: Barley (PKR 1,100), Dates (PKR 1,600), Raisins (PKR 2,200). You can choose based on your household's staple food or pay more.
Every Muslim adult who owns wealth above the Nisab threshold must pay Fitrana — on behalf of themselves and all their dependents (spouse, children, elderly parents, and any other family members under their care).
