Animal Age Rules
Goat/sheep: 1+ year. Cow/buffalo: 2+ years. Camel: 5+ years. Animals must be healthy and free from defects.
Share Rules
Goat/sheep = 1 share (full). Cow/camel = 7 shares maximum. Shares can be split among individuals for Qurbani.
Timing
Qurbani can be performed after Eid prayer until sunset on the 12th of Dhul Hijjah (3 days total — 10, 11, 12).
